In this video, I test a proposal generator inside Videmak Research AI and show how you can go from a rough topic to a full, structured research proposal in minutes. The workflow starts with a title generator where I plug in the research topic, geographic area, and target population, then I move section-by-section (introduction, background, literature review, and more). The big win is coherence: each section is generated with the earlier context baked in, so the proposal reads like one document instead of stitched-together paragraphs. I also break down why this tool feels different from generic ChatGPT prompting: it’s built around embeddings and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), which is meant to reduce hallucinations and keep the writing formal and detailed instead of vague. I show how to generate either the entire proposal or just one section, then use built-in editing tools to refine the language, expand with “Continue,” and add citations (including the option to upload your own library). Finally, I download the proposal as a Word document so you can do the last pass offline and submit something that’s actually usable, not just AI fluff.
