Gravel Biking on Hardtail Mountain Bikes with Beginners

Gravel biking is a great way to introduce new riders to mountain biking. It helps build up endurance and gets the leg muscles working without having to worry about the technical aspects of singletrack riding. I took some friends and family to ride Midewin National Tallgrass Prairie. This is a unique place to ride and it's the only tallgrass prairie preserve East of the Missisippi river. Adding to that, there is a herd of bison here. Up until 2015, bison had not roamed the Illinois prairie for 185 years. Hope you enjoy this fun adventure.
