So for the last 7 months or so, my old 12v system has been sitting on the shelf. I didn't really know what I wanted to do with it till I started browsing YouTube one day and came across a handful of videos where people built their own portable power stations (or solar generators if you prefer). I thought that would be a great use for my old system. It would give me the ability to have power out back when I'm working where before I would have to either run the generator or I would have to run a lot of extension cords. So this is just gonna be a little intro into the upcoming project. Just a few ideas of the parts and pieces I have right now as well as what I'm thinking of as far as the actual build goes. For more information, please check out my website with links to all the components, materials and products I have used in developing my off-grid solar system: https://going-off-grid.com #diy #offgrid #solar #portablepowerstation #portablepower **** Disclaimer **** Please remember, I'm just a DIYer like you. Don't take what I'm doing as gospel truth, it's just how I'm doing things. If you're unsure of how to do something, look into hiring a professional or at least consult with a professional to determine the correct way to do things.
