I’m expanding my battery system with the Victron 1000A Lynx Power In, a powerful busbar system that includes integrated Class-T fusing for safer power distribution. My existing setup has served me well, but I’m adding a new Vatrer server rack cabinet and battery — and I’ve completely run out of space to connect it. The Lynx Power In gives me an easy way to expand and organize my wiring while adding critical built-in safety features. However, there’s a small challenge: my existing system uses M8 bolts, while the Lynx Power In uses M10 connections, so I’ll need to make a few modifications to ensure everything ties in securely and safely. In this video, I’ll cover: - Why I needed to expand my system - Installing the Victron 1000A Lynx Power In - Benefits of integrated Class-T fusing - Dealing with M8 vs M10 connection differences - Connecting the new Vatrer server rack battery Links to the parts & pieces in the video (affiliate links) ------------------------------------ Victron Lynx Class-T Power In (M10) 🔹 https://www.currentconnected.com/product/lynx-class-t-power-in-m10/?ref=AzzpK9Fl Blue Sea Class-T Fuse 🔹 https://www.currentconnected.com/product/blue-sea-class-t-fuse/?ref=AzzpK9Fl Victron 48V MultiPlus-II 5kVA 120V Inverter 🔹 https://www.currentconnected.com/product/victron-48v-multiplus-2-5kva-120v-inverter-70a-charger/?ref=AzzpK9Fl 10kVA 120/240v Base MultiPlus-II System 🔹 https://www.currentconnected.com/product/10kva-120-240v-residential-off-grid-power-system/?ref=AzzpK9Fl Victron Cerbo GX 🔹 https://www.currentconnected.com/product/victron-cerbo-gx-system-controller/?ref=AzzpK9Fl Victron GX Touch 7" Display 🔹 https://www.currentconnected.com/product/gx-touch-display-cerbo-gx/?ref=AzzpK9Fl Vatrer Server Rack Network Cabinet with Casters+Brakes, 4U 4-Layer 🔹 Vatrer Website: https://www.vatrerpower.com/products/vatrer-server-rack-network-cabinet?sca_ref=6848121.rKQpA3ZV2P&sca_source=YT 🔹 Amazon: https://amzn.to/41OEuEi Vatrer 48V(51.2V) 100Ah Heated Lithium Solar Battery: 🔹 Vatrer Website: https://www.vatrerpower.com/products/vatrer-48v-100ah-self-heating-lifepo4-lithium-solar-battery?sca_ref=6848121.rKQpA3ZV2P&sca_source=YT 🔹 Amazon: https://amzn.to/4lAuwNH (Don't forget to click the coupon!!!)
