Hey, how’s it going everybody — in this update video I’m basically popping back up after being quiet for a while, and I wanted to explain why. The short version: my second son, Fraser, arrived, and going from one kid to two absolutely nuked my gaming time. He’s brilliant and I wouldn’t change it for the world, but it meant less time for playing, making videos, and doing Twitch streams. The good news is he’s seven months old now, things are calming down, and I’m finally getting a bit more free time in the evenings, so I’m going to give YouTube and Twitch another shot. It also felt like the perfect moment because it’s the first birthday of Xbox One (I’m recording this the day before, Friday November 21st). I talk about how fast the year’s gone, how far the console has come, and I genuinely want to say thank you to the Xbox community for the feedback and support — Xbox One wouldn’t be what it is now without you. I also share some of my favorite memories from the year: traveling around Europe meeting fans, the London launch countdown, and Titanfall being a highlight for me (even if I wish I’d played more). And yeah — I’m lining up more content next, starting with an unboxing/review of the Turtle Beach Stealth 500X wireless headset.
