[Ten from Ted] What I Told Global Leaders at the UN

Welcome to Ten from Ted. 1) On the sidelines of the 80th UN General Assembly, American Jewish Committee (AJC) led the Jewish community’s diplomatic outreach—conducting more than 60 high-level meetings with world leaders and government officials—on the issues the Jewish community cares about most. 2) As we get ready to observe Yom Kippur, let’s all think of the 48 families whose loved ones have been held in Gaza now for nearly two years and pray that they come home safe. 3) AJC welcomed the Trump Administration's plan to end the war in Gaza, bring the hostages home, and create a durable and lasting peace. It's now up to the world to pressure Hamas to accept the deal and end the war they started October 7, 2023.
