Welcome to Ten from Ted. Our hearts are with those who were killed in the shooting in Midtown Manhattan on Monday. May the memories of the four lives taken be a blessing. 1) We are still holding our breath for a breakthrough in negotiations to bring the hostages home. The hostages must be returned. 2) Last week, I was in Washington, D.C., meeting with members of the Vice President’s team, the Department of Education, and key Republican and Democratic leaders on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. 3) I participated in a panel discussion on antisemitism in America, hosted by the Center for American Progress. As the leader of a fiercely nonpartisan organization, it was important to go into ideologically aligned spaces and tell them we all have to take antisemitism seriously.
