A strange name, a hidden model, and a lot of attention: Nano Banana has entered the AI image arena. But how good is it really? In this video, I compare it with top platforms like Midjourney, Leonardo, Flux, ChatGPT, Seedream, and more – using structured prompts and LM Arena’s Battle and Side-by-Side modes. I also evaluated its editing capabilities against Midjourney Retexture, SeedEdit 3.0, Flux 1 Kontext, and others. --------------------------- Research results: I looked into several sources to figure out the purpose behind Nano Banana’s development (see below).
