Little Tobago is a small, uninhabited island off the northeastern coast of Tobago in Trinidad and Tobago. It’s often called "Bird of Paradise Island" because it was once home to a colony of Greater Birds of Paradise, introduced from New Guinea in the early 20th century. Though the birds didn’t survive long-term, the island remains an important seabird sanctuary. Little Tobago is a paradise for birdwatchers, nature lovers, and snorkelers. The island is covered in lush vegetation, and hiking trails lead to breathtaking viewpoints overlooking the ocean. How to Get There? Little Tobago is accessible by boat from Speyside, a small fishing village on Tobago’s northeastern coast.
