Nobilis Sleeper PC Upgrades, Cable Management, and Overclock (AMD FX-6300)

In today's installment of AA Computers and Technology I am going to make some much needed upgrades to the cooling configuration of my primary editing rig. I am also going to replace some hardware components that have gone bad over time. Starting off I will unbox all of the new components on camera. Then I will walk you through the upgrades with the component installation soon following. I replaced all of the system fans, upgraded the CPU heatsink, added a drive bay, replaced my broken DVD drive, and threw in a new network card. During the upgrade process I had to completely reconfigure my cable layout as it was a complete mess. With the new upgrades my system ran overall much cooler and was even a bit quieter afterwards too. I was able to achieve a +500MHz overclock to 4.0GHz on my FX-6300 thanks to the new CPU heatsink. I do have some regrets about the upgrade paths I took. If I had to do it all over again I would invest in a beefier heatsink and replace my Rosewill PCI exact fan with a quieter model as it is the only thing I can hear from my system now and it is very annoying.
