Faliure EP5: Dr.Meter HY1803D Attempted Repair

Today I attempted to repair my DR.Meter HY1803 variable voltage power supply which had a little accident with a lead acid battery. I completely dissembled it, tested nearly every capacitor, diode, and transistor on the board until I came across the filter cap which appeared to have gone bad. According to my NEWCASON capacitance meter it was reading double the capacitance it should have been.
