The Houswin diesel heater got my attention because it’s the first unit I’ve seen that eliminates the external power requirement—no power station, no 12-volt hookup, nothing. After a live demo with the owners, I’m optimistic about the self-generating design and the claimed heat/runtime numbers, but I’m still calling this a first look until I get it into real winter conditions.
