00:00 Geese Crash Feral Cats Feeding Spot During Hot Summer Days Blog: https://rndmbits.blogspot.com/2025/08/geese-crash-feral-cats-feeding-spot.html All my projects https://website www.fewdoit.com 00:05 Roosevelt Island in New York is home to a bunch of feral cats. Volunteers come to feed cats daily, rain or shine. On any normal day, geese gather on multiple green lawns of the island, nibbling on grass. On hot summer days, many geese gather near the cats’ feeding spot. Here we arrived at a cat’s feeding spot. Hello kittens! Cats know the feeding time and have been waiting patiently. But what about all these geese? Geese start running toward the feeding spot as soon as we get to the gate! 00:56 Geese don't come here for food. Water is more essential than food on hot summer days. Geese are thirsty. Geese gathered here for fresh water. Thirst is a dangerously potent motivator. Wild geese have learned fast that this is a safe place for them. Cats patiently await their meals. Another flock of thirsty geese arrived. We set aside some water for the cats and geese for later. It helps. And finally, cats can have their meals. And so it goes on hot summer days. Have fun and happy summer :)
